About

Professionally, I’m a staff distributed systems engineer on the energy cloud platform team at Tesla. My primary expertise is building and optimizing web services and data pipelines using Scala, Python, Postgres, and Kafka on AWS and Kubernetes. I have also worked in image and language processing, similarity search, deep learning, and agricultural modeling.

In my free time, I enjoy tennis, hiking, tinkering with open-source software, and building out my homelab.

Occasionally I’ll write a post here, when I feel like I have something useful to say.
